Hi there! In my first post, I introduced you to the site but I want to write a tiny bit about what I'm doing. As I've said previously, this site is for me and the people in my life that know me but I feel as though a little bit of explanation of what I'm doing might help to set some context.

I graduated from Dalhousie University in May 2023 with a BSc. with a major in marine biology, a minor in ocean sciences and a certificate in aquaculture & the environment. This long degree title led me to start an International Masters in Health Management of Aquaculture (AquaH). This is a joint program between Ghent University (Ghent, Belgium), the Norwegian Institute of Science & Technology (NTNU), (Trondheim, Norway), Wageningen University (Wageningen, Netherlands), and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Universitat de Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain). If you want all the info, you can look at it here: https://aquah.eu . But anyways, the program is for 2 years where you spend the first semester in Ghent, then go to one of the partner universities for semesters 2 & 3 and finally, you can go to another one of the partners for semester 4 to write your thesis. The flow looks like this:

My intention is to follow the yellow path (left), thereby spending the majority of my time in Norway after semester 1 in Ghent.

So! Now you know a bit about my program, why I'm doing what I'm doing, and can follow along on my aquaculture journey!
