Welcome to From Katie to Katherine!

Hi there! I'm Katie (well, currently). I've always joked that when I become a "real adult", I'll go by my legal name, Katherine, and I figured that maybe earning my Master's degree would be the logical time to do so. However, I'm kind of figuring out that a "real adult" isn't a thing. Maybe I'll get to be Katie for the rest of my life. Maybe I will become a crotchety old lady named Katherine. I don't know. But follow along on my journey to figuring it out, while also figuring out living in Belgium, Norway, & Malta, studying, travelling, eating and everything in between!

 

I'd like to note that this is a personal travel blog with the main intention being remembering all the fun times and memories from living in Europe (and maybe my last memories as Katie! (woah)). I'll try my best to update this blog as often as possible, including lots of photos! But here's a glimpse into my life, the people I meet, the food I try, the adventures I have, and the whole journey. This is my way for me to share it all with my loved ones back home and my future self, just in case Katherine's memory isn't as good as Katie's!
