Hi there!! Can you believe that I've spent 16 weeks here?!? That's insane, even more insane in less than 16 weeks I've nearly completed my first semester of Masters classes!!

NOTE: I did write this on December 16th but then didn't finish it up so you're getting it a bit late! Whoops! But this is the post for December 11-17 :)

A little bit on how my semesters work: as of this week, I've completed all of the "official class content". Woohoo!! Next week (Dec 18-22), there are "supplementary classes" where we have review sessions and I will write 1 exam!

Then, I'll leave Ghent to spend the holidays with my family in Scandinavia, but it's not a goodbye to Ghent yet because I have to come back for 1 week at the start of January to write more exams.

But back to the present. We had our last week of classes this week!! Woohoo!! Let's focus on the happy accomplishment that that is instead of the stress of my upcoming 7 exams :)

This week we were back in the lab, all day every day exploring disease treatments. We looked at antibiotic resistance, quorum sensing, and a couple of other super cool things.

Outside of the lab, I spent lots of time in the study rooms getting all of my notes together for all of my upcoming exams. And of course, so as to not go completely insane, I had to do some things for myself so I went on lots of walks, a couple of runs and had drinks with some friends of mine:)
