Silly & fun things that happened this week!

Hi there!! This week has been a good one with lots of fun activities, many hours of classes and silly little fun moments :) So here's a list of them (in no particular order)!!

1. The most amazing thing that happened this week was that I finally finished all of my exams from Ghent!! After a month and a half and 7 exams, I'm finally all done!! (until they release our marks next week and I find out if I have to rewrite any!)

2. I went to 3 really fun workout classes this week that were all in Norwegian, which made them slightly more challenging but also silly!

3. I ate brown cheese! No, not cheese that went bad and got dry but actually a Norwegian delicacy. It's kinda caramelized and really smooth, it's quite tasty!!

4. We got hit by a hurricane this week!! I didn't even realize that this side of the Atlantic got hurricanes, but I was wrong! Even more silly is that there was a big snowfall at the same time so I believe the technical term (and not at all just created by me) is a snow-icane.

5. James and I celebrated our first anniversary❤️. It was sad that we couldn't be in the same place to celebrate together but we made the most of it over FaceTime and spent a really nice night together :) We had wine and charcuterie and made apple crisp together and watched a movie!!

6. I realized that drinking wine this week was the first time I've drank since being in Sweden (start of January, so 3 weeks ago), and I think that's the longest I've gone without drinking since I started drinking... hmmm...

7. I met another Canadian here!! It was a really silly run-in with us both hopping off the bus at the same time but she's from Newmarket! What a small world!!!

8. I took one of my first steps to becoming Norwegian and learned to count to 10! What a milestone!!! Side note: this was also very helpful in the workout classes hehe. Side note # 2: This has not helped me shopping in the grocery store as shopping for baking ingredients was a struggle.

9. I've taken up knitting. I'm currently starting to make a headband... I'll let you know how it goes!

10. I went skiing in Sweden! How crazy is it that that's a sentence I can say!!
