Hi there! This week is the last of many things and while not quite the last official week in Ghent, it is getting very close!

This week is a short week of tying up loose ends! Here's the brief to-do list:

  • Wrap up my Belgian Residency documentation

  • Go to the final statistics wrap-up class

  • Go to the final diseases wrap-up class

  • Go to the final larviculture wrap-up class

  • Pack my suitcase that I won't need over Christmas and take it to my landlord's house

  • Write my larviculture exam

  • Make sure all of my study notes are done and ready to go

  • Secret Santa/Christmas party with my class :)

  • Move out of my apartment

  • Take the train to Brussels to meet Kimmy & Kenny and fly to Copenhagen

  • Relax and enjoy the break!

And I accomplished everything!

I mentioned that this is kind of like my last week in Ghent because I return for a week from January 7-15 to write exams but this is my last week in MY apartment! This is the first place I'd lived by myself and I feel like I really bonded with it! I loved living here (even if my view was the brick wall of a prison and my neighbours would raucously cry every morning). When I come back, I'll be staying in the apartment directly above mine so I'm not going too far but it's definitely still a goodbye :(
