Hi there! Another week in Ghent, another week of cool things happening! PS. the coolest thing happens at the end!

Cool thing #1: Learned about Fish CPR
So not real CPR but this week was all about fish diseases and we talked a lot about fish anaesthetic. Sometimes a fish can be administered too much anaesthetic, in which case you have to do fish CPR. What does that mean you ask? You can hold a fish under a tap while holding its mouth open and the vigorous water flow over the gills will send signals to the heart and revive the fish (hopefully).
*For legal purposes, please do not attempt unless a trained fish veterinarian
Cool thing #2: Learned I'm officially going to Norway!!!!
While I've been telling myself that my learning path will be taking me to Norway since I enrolled in this program, it is now official! This week we had our meeting to talk about where each of us is going and while it felt like such a long time coming, it's so exciting to finally get to plan my next place!
Even cooler, I got voted to be the NTNU student representative!
Cool thing #3: Went back to the dentist
This thing wasn't actually cool but it was not nearly as traumatizing as the last time! So that's pretty cool!
Cool thing #4: Chatted with Paris & Syd!!
We finally found a time that worked for all 3 of us to chat and it was SO nice to get to talk to my best friends! <3
Cool thing #5: Braided my hair
Maybe a minor accomplishment but I've never been able to braid my own hair in one braid so I am proud! It's a little bit wiggly but still cool! Is this another step towards Katherine?

Coolest thing that happened this week: JAMES ARRIVED!
James is here for over a week and I am so so so excited!! We have plans to go to Paris, Brugge, play tennis, explore Ghent and so much more! There might even be a guest author blog post!
