Skiing in Storlien, Sweden

Hi there! This weekend I took a little trip with some new friends to check out a ski hill in Sweden!

This Sunday was the PERFECT day for skiing. We got a foot of snow overnight and it was supposed to be nice and sunny! However, there were two issues with it being the perfect ski day.

1. The foot of snow made it bad weather for the train to travel from Trondheim to Storlien. So our train got cancelled. Which I thought would be a big deal but it turns out they just give you a nice coach bus instead so we made it on time, both ways!

2. The foot of snow overnight wasn't all the snow we got, and it was really coming down when we got there so the sunny day was non-existent and visibility was not an easy thing to come by.

But all the snow made it super fun!! There were massive snow banks on the runs and I even took a good tumble and LOST MY SKI for a good ten minutes! That's a first for me and it was a very silly situation!

The ski resort had about 20 runs with lots of red and black runs and we did all of them! The ski resort also didn't have any normal chairlifts but all of them were T-bars so our legs didn't have a break all day, and my legs were definitely feeling it!

The weather seemed to change every time we got to the top of the hill so it made for some really pretty photo-ops and I'll leave you with those:))
