Oktoberfest, Munich, Germany

Hi there!! I had a really good idea for this blog post that I would take a photo every hour to show you what my day looked like! So I present to you: my 24 hours in Munich in 24 photos!

Note: due to having too much fun and having to hold very heavy glasses of beer, I may have missed some times and of course, I went to bed at a reasonable hour so that factors in too..

So Oktoberfest in bullet points:

• Got to meet up with James's cousin Will, so it was nice to have a travel buddy!

• Met some super nice people and some crazy people too!

• Got to see some nice architecture in Munich as well as some beautiful gardens!

• Got to take the long way home and see the Cathedral in Cologne again (I've missed it)

  • Sub bullet point: ICE train 16 from Frankfurt, through Cologne to Brussels has been 0/2 for me...

• A slight bit of perspective

  • Hours on trains to get to Munich: 17.5

  • Hours in Munich: 22

  • Worth it? ABSOLUTELY
