Happy April!

Hi there!! Happy April! We have so much to catch up on but first, happy spring!

Or supposedly spring… Today the street sweepers, leaf blowers, baby dump trucks and tractors are out picking up all of the “little stones” that saved many a tailbone from the ice this winter. While I am so grateful for them, I am so excited to walk on smooth ground again and not have to sweep up millions on them from my apartment floor.

The weather did not get the memo on this momentous day and decided to be blowy and snowy today. Just when I thought winter was over 🙄

Besides updates on the weather, so much has happened since I last updated the blog so I’ll start with the major life updates!

First, I just got back from 10 days in Halifax!! Spending time with James, my friends and my family was so lovely and it made it SO hard to fly back to Norway. Many tears have been shed:(

As if flying back to Norway wasn’t sad enough, I was welcomed back with grey skies, pouring rain and a smashed bottle of maple syrup in my suitcase. What a welcoming!

Secondly, I got a job in Ontario for the summer so it’s only 7 weeks until I’m back in Canada and this time for much longer!! I’ll be working at White Lake Fish Culture Station in Sharbot Lake and I am very excited!!

My flights are booked to come back home and the countdown is on!

Before I am back in Canada, I have lots of classes, assignments, presentations, reports and exams to complete so April and May will be very busy but still very fun!!

In terms of classes, I am still attending them, they are getting crazy busy so I have lots of stuff going on but I will be posting some more updates about my 10 days in Halifax, fun things that I've been up to in Trondheim and my plans for my last couples of weeks in Norway until the fall!
