Hi there! You've made it to our last stop in Germany: Bremen.

You may ask, why are you going to Bremen, many people have asked the same thing. And we don't have a really good answer other than it's on the way between Hamburg and Amsterdam and we were looking for a cute smaller city instead of the two big cities that we were in before!

And I must say, I am so happy with our decision to come here! I think it's my favourite place on this whole tour!

Bremen is this super cute medieval German town with so many cool places all within a small radius. And for our bodies that have been walking countless miles for the past couple of days, that exactly is what we like to hear.

We started off Bremen with a bang with a visit to the Bremen Ratskeller restaurant. This place was amazing! It was built in 1330 and became the town hall of Bremen in 1405 then became one of the oldest wine cellars in Germany! The oldest wine barrel in Germany, dated 1653 is stored here! The food was super tasty too! The beer that tasted like it was mixed with Sprite was not so tasty, but overall it was still amazing!!

This was another place where we only had a short amount of time so we made the most of the morning and saw all landmarks! We started in the traditional square with gorgeous architecture and then found ourselves in a farmers market, then we made our way to Schnoor. Schnoor is a district in Bremen with tiny streets filled with cafes, shops and our new favourite candy store! You can sign up for candy-making workshops and we weren't able to make it to one but next time we're in Bremen we absolutely will be going!

We got the mixed pack of candy pieces and that kept us entertained on the 5 hour bus ride to Amsterdam trying to identify all the flavours and rank them!
